  • Birth Doulas provide emotional and physical support for pregnant persons and their families as they prepare for and experience birth. They are present and mindful and assist in creating a positive birthing experience.

  • A virtual birth doula provides support, education, and guidance throughout your pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period, all through virtual means. This can include video calls, phone calls, text messages, and emails. Your virtual doula offers continuous emotional and informational support, helps you prepare for your birth, provides techniques for coping with labor, and answers any questions you might have. They also assist with birth plans and provide postpartum support, ensuring that you feel empowered and informed every step of the way, regardless of your location. In labor and birth I am available 24/7 to meet your needs and help guide you towards a phenomenal birthing experience!

  • Absolutely not! We are here to help both the laboring parent and their support person(s) to know how to engage and comfort their loved one. This experience will be remembered forever, and the intimacy you share cannot be replaced.

  • A retainer is due at the time of signing your contract before I am able to save space for you on my calendar.

    Following that, payments may be made in installments but total payment is due at your 36 week mark of pregnancy.

  • I will discuss with you your options and interventions, narrowing down your birth preferences to help create your birth plan. We will practice comfort measures to help you during early labor before I arrive.

  • It is highly recommended, and offered with with Doula package! In order to have an empowering pregnancy, labor, and birth experience, I am a huge advocate of preparing you in every way, and that starts with educating yourself on birth and the many choices you may have to make.

  • Nope! Unmedicated, medicated, inductions, Cesarean births, in your home, in a birth center, or in a hospital- we are here for it all! This is YOUR experience, these are your choices, I’m just here to provide evidence-based knowledge so you can choose what is best for you!

  • No, it is against both my Nursing license and the scope of practice as a Doula. When I’m your Doula, I am only there to provide comfort, affirmations, and support for you and your family. I will not perform any clinical or nursing tasks, such as taking blood pressures, vaginal exams, or fetal heart tone checks while I am in the role of a Doula. My focus is your comfort and experience, not the numbers.

  • I will still make every effort to be present at your birth, and if I’m unavailable, I have back-up doulas who are amazing can be there for you.

  • I want to make sure you feel comfortable and supported, while also giving you the space to enjoy your new little one. I will stay for 1-2 hours in most cases, but this is usually decided in the moment dependent on how your immediate postpartum experience is going.
